Alternative browser Mozilla Firefox was updated today to version 55.0. Among a giant list of new features and improvements, developers added in the availability for WebVR support.

For those just tuning in, WebVR is a relatively new technology to spread virtual reality experience across devices. With the browser, users can experience WebVR applications on multiple platforms adjusting to which is necessary for the time.

As Windows Central points out, this is the first browser for Windows that offers WebVR support cross-platform. It even beat out Microsoft Edge where WebVR support is still in the developer previews since last year. Mozilla even put together a MozVR site with plenty of virtual reality demos to try out the new feature.

The rest of the Mozilla Firefox update can be read and downloaded over on their official site.
