The folks over at Facebook have just given the Facebook Messenger app a fresh coat of paint by way of a new update. Overall, the new update brings a major overhaul to the app, making it up to par with the beta version.

As Windows Central notes, several new features to the app include the ability to send GIFs in messages, a new user interface and theme color, and the ability to customize a username. If you’re not already using the app, you can see the full app description and a download link below.

  • See when you have messages waiting for you with a live tile
  • Send photos, videos, GIFs and more
  • Bring your conversations to life with stickers
  • Know when people have seen your messages
  • Create groups for the people you message most—name them and set group photos
  • Forward messages or photos to people who weren’t in the conversation
  • Search for people and groups to quickly get back to them.
