Euronews now available for Windows Phone, one of the most popular news channels in Europe

If you love to check the headlines on your Windows Phone handset, then the news is good today. Well, the app news anyway, we can’t speak for the goings on in the world. The Euronews application is now available in the Windows Phone Store. The service claims a lot of pull on the continent, covering the diverse nations and cultures present in the Old World.

“Euronews, the most watched news channel in Europe, covers international news in 13 languages. With 400 journalists from more than 30 nationalities, Euronews offers a unique, independent and totally impartial perspective on world events,” the app description reads.

The application offers international, economic, cultural and scientific news videos, as well as documentaries and magazines through it video on demand service. The Euronews application will be available in 13 different languages, including English, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Ukranian, with Persian and Arabic expected to follow. 

Euronews promises the application will offer new programs and features, including live streaming of Euronews TV, news-based quiz games, and bookmarks for your favorite stories.
