Disney Movies Anywhere can now connect to Microsoft's Movies & TV

| |

Disney Movies Anywhere is a service that allows users to purchase films and stream them across a wide variety of devices. The services’ goal is to let users watch their favorite Disney movies, including Pixar and Marvel films, on any device. The service has previously supported playback through web browsers as well as iTunes, Google Play, and Vudu. It now has been expanded to include Amazon Video and Microsoft Movies & TV.
Microsoft fans have multiple options for using the service. They can either use the new Xbox 360 Disney Movies Anywhere app or connect their Movies & TV to Disney Movies Anywhere and watch films directly through Movies & TV on their Xbox and other devices.
The purchase and stream marketplace is rather crowded these days. To help differentiate Disney Movies Anywhere from other services there are reward points that you earn through purchases. It also works well with many other services. As an added bonus if you’re an existing customer of Disney Movies Anywhere you get a free digital copy of Monsters Inc. when you connect it to Microsoft’s Movies & TV for the first time.
Unfortunately the ability to connect Disney Movies Anywhere and Microsoft’s Movies & TV is restricted to the United States.
