November’s Patch Tuesday marked the first time Microsoft added Windows 8 to its monthly security patch release cycle. For December 2012, Microsoft has announced that the company will be releasing seven security patches to fix eleven different vulnerabilities, including the company’s Internet Explorer 10 browser and Windows 8.

Microsoft is set to release seven security updates to address vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer 10, Windows 8, Windows RT, and Windows 2012, which are the companies newest range of software products. Five of the seven patches are critical, while two of them are important. The majority of these patches deal with remote code execution, while one of the patches deals with a security feature bypass. Expect to see these security patches released on December 11th at 1PM Eastern Time.
