With Xbox SmartGlass, you can use a phone or tablet to enhance your games and entertainment experience on Xbox. If you have been trying to open up Xbox SmartGlass on your Windows Phone or Windows 8.1 device, and noticed that the app keeps crashing, here is some information on the matter. Turns out, this issue is caused by the new 2015 year. Specifically, this issue has to do with a date bug.

Another issue has been spotted with the Messaging app on Windows Phone, which is showcasing an incorrect date stamp. One temporary solution is to change your date back to 2013, but this isn’t an ideal solution for obvious reasons. But, it does allow you to use the app.
