2017 was a busy year for Lenovo, and at CES 2018, the company is taking things a step further. Announced today before next week’s CES are the 2018 ThinkPad T, X and L Series models. These devices come complete with thinner and lighter designs, 8th Generation Intel processors, broader support of Facial Recognition for Windows Hello, Universal USB Type-C power adapters, and more. ThinkPad X Series – Full Performance, Yoga Flexibility, Compact Design
The devices entering the X Series lineup in 2018 are built to work in the world’s most inhospitable places. Coming with rapid change technology, these devices can get up to 80% battery in 60 minutes, with the X280 offering up to 13 hours of battery, and the X380 13.6 hours of battery. The X380 Yoga also enhances end-user experience with Active Pen and secure access with an IR camera and Windows Hello.

Lenovo also announced new ThinkVision Displays, with new designs. The ThinkVision X24 (January 2018, $249) is an ultra-thin monitor at just 4mm thin with narrow (1.1mm) bezels, and the ThinkVision P32u (March 2018 at $1349) is a UHD 4K display with multi-color space capability. Finally, the company mentioned an updated ThinkPad Docking Station, which brings a fresh approach to traditional docking design thanks to a one-touch slide-to-connect mechanism. The station can accommodate most 12, 14, and 15-inch ThinkPads, and will be priced at $199 for the 90W model, Pro 135W at $249 and Ultra 135W at $299.
