Build Tour 2016 global registrations now available

If you couldn’t missed out on Microsoft’s Build 2016 event, in person or streaming, for whatever reason, or would like an opportunity to meet with some of the Microsoft folks who hosted the many sessions, then the company just might have something for you. The Build Tour is now open for registration, meaning that a local condensed version of the event might be coming to a city near you.

Here’s what you’re signing up for:

Each Build Tour event is a free, one-day, developer-focused deep-dive into the best of the Build 2016 conference. The morning highlights what’s new for developers across the Microsoft technology stack: platform advances, developer tool improvements, and new back-end services that help make your experiences more personal and scalable. In the afternoon, we’ll dig deeper into UWP, XAML, the desktop and WP Silverlight bridges, Xamarin, DevOps for app devs, and more.

And after you’ve heard all about the exciting new capabilities, and seen them in action, we’ll wrap up the day with an open Q&A and reception where you can engage with our engineering speakers, local Microsoft dev community leaders, and UWP product managers [I’ll be at the Melbourne event :)].

The cities where Built Tour events will be held include:

May 24th – Amsterdam, Netherlands
May 24th – Barcelona, Spain
May 26th – Melbourne, Australia
June 3rd – Pune, India
June 8th – Warsaw, Poland
June 10th – Toronto, Canada
June 14th – London, United Kingdom

There you have it. Head over to the city of your choice and sign up. Of course, you can also check out our coverage of Build 2016 to get an idea of everything Microsoft covered at the event.
