Bing makes it easier for webmasters to appeal Copyright Removal Notices and see pages affected

In an effort to help webmasters resolve copyright issues affecting their websites, Bing has added a new feature to its Bing Webmaster Tools platform that allows webmasters to view pages that have been affected by Copyright Removal Notices. Additionally, webmasters will have the option to appeal a notice if they wish to do so.

Announced on Bing’s blog, the new feature is aimed to provide webmasters with a greater visual on how DMCA takedowns are affecting their site, while providing an option to rectify it.

Inside Bing Webmaster Tools, this new feature is listed under the section named “Copyright Removal Notices.”
