Bethesda has delayed Starfield and Redfall until 2023

In a surprising turn of events, it now seems that Bethesda has decided to postpone the launch of Starfield and Redfall. The studio announced this through a tweet today. Starfield was originally meant to make its debut on November 12, this year. The launch date has been pushed further to the first half of 2023.

Aside from indicating that the launch has been moved to a later date next there, there is little information to go on this. Just that the company is looking to provide fans with the best gaming experience and that they had “incredible ambitions for the game”.

Bethesda, now owned by Microsoft, is still apparently planning to show off both Starfield and Redfall at the Xbox & Bethesda games event on June 12th, though it’s unclear how polished these showcases will be.
