BBM Channels comes to Windows Phone in the latest update

If you happen to be a regular user of BlackBerry Messenger through BBM on Windows Phone, there’s an update waiting for you in the app store. The latest update brings support for BBM Channels, a social place where you can post messages and pictures, also interact with people who are a part of it. In simple terms, it’s a discussion group where you can get in touch with other BBM members as well.

You can even create your own channels, and post post messages, share pictures, spark discussions, and chat directly with subscribers and brands.

It’s been a while since the feature made its way to rival operating systems — Android and iOS. However, it doesn’t come as a surprise to see these kind of features on popular apps show late on Windows Phone — it’s a norm if you ask me.

Anyways, if you’re a regular user, head over to the Windows Phone Store and grab the update. Let us know about your favorite channels using the comments below.
