1Password launches its Edge extension on the Windows Store

Popular password manager 1Password is now available as an extension for Microsoft Edge, letting you easily search and fill your sensitive information right from the web browser. Microsoft announced nearly a year ago that the extension was in the pipeline, and it was first spotted by Windows Blog Italia (via Windows Central).

Many password managers such as LastPass and Advance Password Manager were already available as Edge extensions, so it’s nice to see developer AgileBits support Microsoft’s new browser as well. Be aware that the extension requires you to install 1Password for Windows 6.7+, which you can download here.

There are now over 70 Edge extensions available in the Windows Store, and the ecosystem is growing slowly to make sure that new additions are “high-quality and trustworthy,” Microsoft recently explained. Nevertheless, LastPass is a really great addition and you can try the new extension with the download link below.
