The Lumia 950 supports the Glance screen, which is a cool feature that allows you to check the time and see other small tidbits of information when your screen times out. Here’s how you can configure the Glance screen.

Drag your finger from the top of the screen to open the notifications. Tap on the “All Settings” tile located at the bottom right of your screen. The Settings app will now open. Go to the very bottom of Settings and tap on Extras. From there, tap on “Glance screen” and you will now be able to tweak your Glance screen settings.

In this area, you can adjust the time to show the Glance screen when your screen times out. It’s set to 15 minutes but you can change it to 30 seconds, always on, or completely shut it off.

You can also show or hide a background photo, the date, notification icons, or detailed app statuses. You can also enable or disable the Glance screen while your phone charges. At night, you can also set your Glance screen to night mode, showcasing the time in either blue, red, or green.

Give it a try and see if you like it!
