Arcane Wonders has announced that it will be publishing the newest Call of Duty game. A board game, that is. This tabletop adaptation of the uber-popular FPS franchise will be titled Call of Duty: The Board Game, and is set to release by “holiday 2024.”

Arcane Wonders is a Texas-based company that has been in business since 2012. This won’t be its first foray in adapting a video game for tabletop; it previously published a board game based on stealth-horror title Hello Neighbor.

The game’s designers say that it will seek to imitate the fast-paced action of the Call of Duty video games. The board game will retail for $50 USD, and will accommodate 2-player competitive or cooperative play. Two sets can be paired for up  to four-player matches.

Arcane Wonders CEO and board game designer Bryan Pope said on the announcement,

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Activision to bring the Call of Duty franchise to the tabletop. As life-long Call of Duty fans, we’ve worked hard to capture the scope, stakes, and sheer intensity of the video games in ways that Call of Duty fans and board gamers new and old will love. We’re looking forward to bringing the unforgettable fun and competitive frenzy of Call of Duty to game night for years to come.”
