A new update is rolling out to the Bedrock versions of Minecraft for Windows 10, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices, bringing several new features including the Character Creator that shipped in a previous beta release.
Minecraft Earth is landing on Android devices, in closed beta at least. A tweet from the official Minecraft Earth Twitter account reveals that next week, a handful of Android users will be able to get their hands on the Minecraft-meets-VR mobile game.
Despite Microsoft canceling the much-anticipated Super Duper Graphics pack for Minecraft, the sandbox game will still get a significant graphical upgrade thanks to a new rendering engine and ray tracing support on Windows 10.
While Minecraft Dungeons seems to be limited to beefier consoles and Windows 10 devices at the moment, that's not to say that mobile phones are left out. Minecraft Earth will bring a new perspective to the game, and we mean that quite literally.
