A new HoloLens 2 Development Edition is now available through Microsoft's Mixed Reality Developer Program, bundling together the new headset with tools to help developers get started with mixed reality.
The whole experience felt natural to me, as I’ve played lots of first-person shooter video games that show me exactly where I am on a map, where my teammates are and where the enemy is. It was almost like a real-life game of “Call of Duty.”
The Mixed Reality Dev Days, which will be held on May 2-3 at Microsoft’s Redmond headquarters, will have various sessions dedicated to HoloLens 2, the Azure Kinect development Kit, as well as new mixed reality services and developer tools.
The new Trimble XR10 with HoloLens 2 will still leverage Trimble Connect to allow frontline workers to interact with complex 3D data on site, while also bringing a new flip visor, a wider field of view and improved usability.
