The Xbox One is designed to be your central hub when it comes to your entertainment experience, so it comes as no surprise that there will now be a YouTube app for Xbox One. You can enjoy 1080p videos on the large screen!
“Love YouTube? Love Xbox? You can now watch your favorite videos and channels with the YouTube app for Xbox One. Check out videos in 1080p glory, catch the latest videos from your subscriptions like Polaris, or see trending videos from categories like Music and Sports,” Google stated in a blog post.
The YouTube app taps into Kinect and allows you to control the app by saying, “YouTube” wherever you are in the app. There are commands like play, pause, and fast forward that will instantly pop up on screen. You can even “grab the screen” to scroll through videos and even use your hand to pick which video you want to see.
This is yet another cool feature for the Xbox One, which is set to launch November 22nd. Are you ready?
