No doubt, the coronavirus outbreak has significantly disrupted video production/marketing at a time when people are not only consuming content more than ever, but creating it. To deal with this situation, YouTube has a new way to encourage and help small and mid-size enterprises (SME) to create new content.

The popular video-sharing platform has launched a free beta tool named Video Builder today, aiming to help SMEs looking to improve their marketing campaigns by incorporating high-quality videos. Interestingly, Video Builder allows small businesses to animate static images including logos, text, and photos with music available in the YouTube library. In addition, the tool lessens the burden on small and midsized businesses by enabling them to create promotional videos in just a couple of minutes.

For brands and agencies who are interested in quickly developing new content for their audience, Video Builder lets you select a layout, based on your goals and messages. Ali Miller, the Director of Product Management and YouTube Ads describes in a blog post:

Because businesses of all sizes are strapped for time and resources and in-person video shoots are no longer practical in many countries, we are accelerating the next stage of Video Builder availability. With this tool, any business who needs a video can create one that helps connect with their customers and keep them informed—whether through an advertising campaign, website or email.

Here’s a How-To video that demonstrates the use of Video Builder below:

Again, content creators can use Video Builder to create and share videos via social media, websites, and emails. Since the beta tool is currently in the works, you should look forward to many new features in the final release.
