Microsoft has just published an update to the MSDN Blog notifying users of possible issues with Visual Studio Team Services.
The Microsoft team is actively investigating an issue with Visual Studio team Service where customers in the South Central U.S. may experience degraded performance while accessing a Visual Studio account. As is usual with these issues, the team also notes that they are working to resolve the issue and apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the performance issues. The post also notes that a significant increase of load on the service has been noticed this morning is the cause for the slow down.
Visual Studio Team Services helps share code, track work, and ship software – for any language, all in a single package. It’s the perfect complement to an IDE and provides a set of cloud-powered collaboration tools that work with an existing IDE or editor, so that a team can work effectively on software projects of all shapes and sizes. Many popular companies such as Hawaiian Airlines, Shell, BrightStar, and Sogeti use the Microsoft cloud collaboration tool.
