Windows 10 Instagram

If you’re using the Instagram app on Windows 10, it’s just gotten a cool update. You can now use your PC Webcam to post pictures to your Instagram for your friends and family to see (via Windows Central.)

The ability gets added by way of a version 10.913.38071 update, which should be rolling out now on the Windows Store. Though the upload options were previously limited to devices with rear-facing webcams, you should now be able to share that special selfie and moment regardless of which type of device you own, as long as it has some type of webcam. Though not showing up for all users, also new in this update are preview links in direct messages and a new icon for the suggested people section in the Profile section of the app.

If you’re not already using the Instagram app on your Windows 10 PC, you can download it from the link below. Once you’ve checked it out or updated, drop us a comment to let us know how the experience is working for you!
