You can now pre-order Microsoft’s Surface headphones in the US and UK

Microsoft has just opened pre-orders for its new Surface headphones in the US and UK today. We already knew that the headphones would start shipping in the US on November 19, but the store listing on the UK Microsoft Store revealed today the £329.99 pricing and November 29 shipping date (via Windows Central).

We had the opportunity to go hands-on with the Surface headphones recently, and we really liked what we heard. The headphones are well-designed and comfortable, and we were quite impressed by the sound quality and noise-cancelling technology. Hands-free Cortana is also built-in, though this feature wasn’t enabled on the prototype unit we tested earlier this month.

Just like other Surface products, the new headphones come with a premium pricing, but they should be a very nice companion to your Surface device, or any other device with Bluetooth or a headphone jack. For now, Microsoft hasn’t said if the Surface headphones would be coming to more markets, and this may all depend on making the Cortana features work in non-English countries.
