Following Bing’s announcement that they are hoping to change the way search engines discover new and updated content, one of WordPress’s largest SEO plugins, Yoast SEO, has announced that it is adding a “live indexing” feature.

Live indexing means that any new or updated content will automatically be submitted to Bing, instructing the search engine to crawl the page, in about one minute from the time it is submitted.

Yoast will be releasing this feature to users of Yoast SEO in two stages.

The first, happening in late March, will allow WordPress website admins to register their website with MyYoast, Yoast’s customer portal.

Later, Yoast SEO will begin sending messages to MyYoast, which then submits the URLs automatically to Bing.

It is believed that Yoast will not require site owners to have their website added to Bing Webmaster Tools for this to work.
