Starting today, Microsoft is adding the ability to use reactions in Yammer as part of a Microsoft 365 subscription. Microsoft recently redesigned Yammer on all platforms, releasing a public preview in May 2020 with a redesigned app icon and interface. As noted in a post on the Yammer blog, Microsoft is adding reactions to help engage employees to react to work projects and milestones.

Reactions are starting to roll out today for Microsoft 365 subscribers and should be available to Yammer users worldwide in the next few weeks. If you want to add a reaction to a post in Yammer, hover over the “like” button to see the reaction options of like, love, laugh, celebrate, thank, and sad. Tap to choose the one that you want to use.
Microsoft used the Yammer UserVoice for feedback on the most requested reactions. Microsoft plans to add more new features, including different skin tones on reactions, in a future update.
