Indian smartphone manufacturer XOLO has just unveiled a new Windows Phone device. The XOLO Win Q1000 succeeds the company’s existing Q900S model.
If the Q1000 looks familiar, that’s because you’ve seen it before in the form of the BLU Win HD which we reviewed last year. The Q1000 is almost identical to the Win HD in terms of both the external design and some of the internal specifications too which includes a 5” 1280×720 display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor running at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage that’s expandable via MicroSD, an 8MP rear shooter paired with a 2MP front camera, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n, and a 2200mAh battery. The device will come pre-loaded with Windows Phone 8.1.
There is no news yet on availability, but the XOLO Win Q1000 will be priced at the same price the Q900S sells for; ₹8,499 ($137), leading us to assume that the Q900S will be discontinued once its successor hits the market. Check out the full specification list over at the XOLO source link below.
