Xbox Store's "biggest sale ever" begins December 22 for 17 days

The Xbox community’s best friend, Major Nelson, has just put out a blog post informing us of the upcoming arrival of the biggest sale ever for Xbox owners: Countdown. Countdown is going to be offering 17 days of deals on hundreds of games and movies starting on December 22. With the holiday season coming up, and with it a vast amount of  new people into the wonderful world of Xbox, the sale is coming at a great time.
For those who are attempting to beef up their library of games on Xbox, the sale is going to be covering many of the big system-sellers, including Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Forza Motorsport 6. These deals are going to be going up as high as 60% off, and if you’re an Xbox Live Gold member, you can get up to an additional 10% off.
For those who haven’t gone about picking up an Xbox One yet, the Xbox 360 isn’t being left out from the holiday savings. Countdown is going to be giving out deals to both Xbox One and Xbox 360, making sure the entire Xbox family gets to enjoy.
