Microsoft has announced the start of the Summer Spotlight sale with a YouTube video (below), which is all about Indie games. As part of the sale, you can expect to see the hottest genres and hottest Indie titles in the store every week, for the next six weeks from July 25th up until September 4th.

All throughout the Xbox Summer Spotlight, you will be able to find new titles such as Tacoma, Megaman Legacy Collection 2, Dead Alliance, Sonic Mania, and more. And, as a bonus, Xbox Live Rewards members who choose to dive into the collection will get 4,000 Rewards Credits for the purchase of these games.

A full schedule of releases can be seen here, but we’ve included a small selection below.

  • July 14: Serial Cleaner
  • July 19: What remains of Edith Finch, Moonhunters
  • July 21: Conga Master
  • July 25: Fable Fortune, Inifinte Minigolf, Aven Colony, Fortnite
  • July 26: Vostok Inc, Unbox: Newbite’s Adventure, Gridd: Retroenhanced, Pressure Overdrive
  • July 28: Super CloudBuilt, Cyber Complex

The Spotlight has been somewhat of a tradition for Microsoft, and last year the theme was exclusive beta titles. Microsoft has yet to publish a post diving into the specifics of these games, but we will be keeping a watchful eye, and will update you once more details have been revealed.

Update: Microsoft has posted about the Summer Spotlight, and we updated our post with a list of titles.
