Xbox Play Anywhere video game Gigantic gets first new character

The Xbox Play Anywhere video game, Gigantic, has just received a new character in its Exile in the North update. The character, Pakko, appears to be some sort of ice-koala and has been given its own special trailer to introduce itself to players. You can watch it below.

Gigantic hasn’t actually publically released yet but it has experimented with open beta for a group of dedicated fans. Game Preview versions are currently available for both Windows 10 and Xbox One and, through the Xbox Play Anywhere initiative, players on each versions can play against or with each other and progress will transfer between the different hardware. Here’s the official descriptions for both Pakko and Gigantic.

This happy-go-lucky critter trots his way into the action with powerful melee abilities packed into his paws, maneuvering around the opposition with surprising agility. Ice the competition with our latest Exile in the North update featuring Pakko the playful giant – now available!

Gigantic is a free-to-play action MOBA developed by Motiga that pits teams of five heroes and their massive guardians against each other in highly intense battles across a variety of maps. The game combines explosive combat with fast-paced teamwork, strategy, and skill, as players fight to defeat the opposing guardian with spells, guns, and swords.
