EA Sports NHL 18 launched today on Microsoft’s Xbox One game console. This latest video game in the EA Sports franchise brings several new features to help it stand apart from its predecessors. Among the new features are new creative attack controls, a new expansion draft, several new multiplayer modes, and three-on-three matches.

Play the fast-paced, arcade-inspired 3-on-3 NHL THREES mode, or create your own custom 32nd NHL team with the new Expansion Draft. Do it all with the most co-op and competitive multiplayer options ever in an EA SPORTS NHL game.

No other sports game allows you to team up with friends and hit the ice like NHL 18. Whether you’re playing cooperatively or competitively, offline on the couch or online with up to 12 players, NHL 18 delivers more than 64 combinations to team up with – or against – friends locally and online. It no longer matters if your friends are on the couch, online, or both. There are two special editions of EA Sports NHL 18 available for digital purchase right now; the Young Stars Edition and the Young Stars Deluxe Edition. The former features the main game and one Gold Plus Pack per week for 20 weeks after purchase, one Rookie HUT item, one Adidas Custom HUT Jersey, and an EASHL McDavid celebration while the latter features the same but comes with two Gold Plus Packs instead of one.
