Just a day after the Xbox team rolled out a new preview build to Xbox Insiders on the Alpha ring, it’s now the turn of Preview Beta members to receive a new update. According to the release notes, this one is a minor update that brings “miscellaneous fixes and improvements,” which are always welcome.

You can find the short changelog below, which still includes the same known issues as before:

DETAILS

OS version released: rs2_release_xbox_1704.170330-1900 Available: 6:00PM PDT 4/4 (1:00AM GMT 5/4)

FIXES:

  • Miscellaneous: Miscellaneous fixes and improvements

KNOWN ISSUES:

  • Settings – Display & sound: The Audio output page is under construction and some of the new settings are not yet functional. New support is planned for Dolby Atmos for home theater, Dolby Atmos for headphones, and more in upcoming builds. An announcement will be made when these new features are ready to try out; enabling these settings now will have no effect.
  • Wireless Display: The Wireless Display app fails to launch and immediately crashes to Home.

Yesterday, Microsoft’s Brad Rossetti shared that custom gamerpics will roll out first to Preview Alpha users, starting next week. For Preview Beta members, the ETA is still to be determined but we’ll let you know if we get more information in the coming days.
