Xbox One controllers released after June of 2015 will have a standard 3.5mm headphone jack according to multiple sources. The new controller design was spotted on an Xbox.com page that has since been taken down.  According to Kotaku, the controller in the since taken down page is seemingly otherwise identical to previous models except for the addition of the headphone jack.

Some users have complained that the Xbox One controller did not one of these ports originally which forced users to purchase an adapter to use certain headsets. With the new update it’s easier for users to bring their headphone of choice.

There are other features that people have asked for though, such as built in USB charging, as pointed out by Eurogamer. We’ll have to keep an eye out to see if there are any other changes or additions to the Xbox One controller.
