Xbox head Phil Spencer teases "fun time" coming for Xbox Live Preview members

With E3, one of the largest trade shows for the gaming industry, being less than two weeks away, Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, teased on twitter that a “fun time” is coming for Xbox Live Preview members.

After Spencer commented on twitter that he is feeling great about the show’s flow and game lineup in store for E3, a twitter user said to Spencer that he hopes there will be some nice announcements for Xbox Preview Members. For those not familiar with the program, the Xbox Preview Members are a part of an invite only group to preview new features on Xbox One.

Spencer responded to the comment by saying:

Hopefully this tease implies that Xbox E3 announcements will include more than a lineup of games, such as new features coming to Xbox One or maybe even hints or reveals of what Windows 10 will look like on Xbox One.

There have already been indications that new hardware such as controllers with standard 3.5mm headphone jacks will be made available in June.

Whatever the case will be, Xbox is making its E3 Briefing available for viewing from multiple platforms, on either Xbox.com, your Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows Phone and during “Xbox: Game On” on Spike TV. There will even be an in person experience for 500 lucky fans in Los Angeles to attend the E3 Briefing. The E3 Briefing begins at 9:30 a.m. PDT on June 15th, but if you don’t have time to watch the stream, don’t worry, just stay tuned to WinBeta for Xbox news from E3, now less than two weeks away.
