Recent Xbox Game Pass addition Lies of P has sold one million copies as of this week. This units sold figure of course does not take into account those who have played via Game Pass, making the feat all the more impressive. The team behind the game took to X (formerly Twitter) to mark the occasion and thank all those who have played and purchased the game.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the citizens of Krat.
Thank you to everyone who helped us and accompanied us and we hope you join in our future journeys as well.#LiesofP pic.twitter.com/BpGUr0rkDn

Lies of P is a “souls-like” single player action-RPG from Neowiz Games and Round8 Studio. Lies of P is loosely based on the classic story of Pinocchio, albeit with a much darker aesthetic. The game has received a warm critical reception as well.

Lies of P

Lies of P released on September 19 as a day one Game Pass game, and has clearly found a large audience despite releasing in the same window as other blockbusters like Payday 3 and Bethesda’s Starfield. Having reached one million copies sold in just under a month a quite an accomplishment for any video game, especially for a new IP such as Lies of P.
