Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds has been the biggest title to come out in a very, very long time. It took the world by storm as the battle royale game built from the ground up by Player Unknown, the modder who pioneered the franchise as an add-on to the game DayZ. Microsoft announced today that Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds is console exclusive to the Xbox One console family.
Prepare for the ultimate Battle Royale.

The game will remain on PC, obviously, but it will be console exclusive to the Xbox family of devices. If your only access to games right now is coming from a PS4 or a Nintendo Switch, you’re going to be out of luck. While we don’t have a release date for when Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds will be launching on Xbox One, we know it’ll be here by the end of the year unless there’s some delay.
