Xbox One backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games announced at E3 2015, coming later this year

Trailing the PS4 in sales for almost two straight years, the Xbox One still has to prove its viability to some consumers. This year at E3, the Xbox One team may have finally made an argument that sets it apart from the pack.
According to the Xbox team, the Xbox One will now be backward compatible with the massive library of games for the Xbox 360. The details are a little sparse, as the announcement took all of 4 minutes to be unveiled. Xbox One gamers can look forward to an initial library of one hundred plus games to start while more are promised in the coming months. As for which games and when the update will be pushed out, we’re still waiting on the specifics.
