Microsoft’s Xbox Beta app for iOS devices has updated to Version 712.1222.0301. This latest update adds support for the Beta Testing of Xbox Live’s Party Chat, the system that allows for voice chat between gamers on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows 10. The Android Xbox Beta app also began testing Party Chat recently.
The iOS Xbox Beta isn’t available for the average consumer to download like the Windows 10 Xbox Beta app and instead interested users are required to register and wait for approval from Microsoft. The app is used to test features before pushing them out to the average gamer who has the main Xbox app.
