Xbox Beta Insiders can download a new 1806 build that fixes annoying app & game launch bug

Following the release of the July update for the Xbox One earlier this month, Microsoft is now working to fix an annoying bug that can cause select apps and games to crash at launch. And because Preview Alpha and Skip Ahead Insiders are already testing the upcoming Fall update for the Xbox One, Microsoft is now testing the fix for the July Update with Beta Insiders.

If you have already joined the Xbox One Preview Beta Ring, the build 1806.180723-1749 is now available to download. In addition to fixing the bug with games and apps failing to launch, this build should also resolve the issue with Wireless and Wired networks failing to be detected when the console wakes from Instant on/connected standby, as well as an issue with the Microsoft Store giving an 0x80070bfa error in some circumstances.

It’s important to note that this build is a 3.4GB download, but it won’t factory refresh your console. Preview Delta and Omega Insiders should receive these fixes over the coming days before they become generally available for all Xbox One owners.
