After weeks of speculation it is now official: Xbox and Bethesda will be livestreaming a Developer_Direct showcase later this month. The event will be streamed on Wednesday, January 25th at 12pm PST/3pm EST according to Xbox Wire. Tune in to the Xbox Twitch and YouTube channels, or the Bethesda Twitch and YouTube channels to watch.

Among the highlights we can expect from the show are closer looks at—and potentially release dates for—some of the year’s most anticipated Xbox titles including Redfall, Forza Motorsport and Minecraft Legends.

Also to be showcased will be the next major Chapter update for The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), which will be unveiled by Zenimax Online Studios director Matt Firor in a standalone ESO Chapter Reveal Event following the Developer_Direct showcase.

You may have noticed one name so far absent in all this: Starfield. That’s because “To dedicate the proper amount of time for a deep dive into Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield, a standalone show is in the works.”

That is exciting news for all those who have been eagerly awaiting more on one of the most anticipated games in recent memory. 2023 is shaping up to be a big year for Xbox, and the official announcement of the Developer_Direct just adds to the excitement.
