WPtorrent app upgrades to UWP format and changes name

The Windows 10 bittorrent client app, WPTorrent, has been rebranded as wTorrent after its latest update which also finally converted it into the Universal Windows Platform app format (UWP). The app itself can run on both Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile devices and supports background downloads and uploads, built-in video playback, and download/upload rate options. Here’s its full list of features:

  • Rich torrent features. Including magnet link support, setting file priorities, download/upload rate limit, incoming listen port, ect.
  • Video playback integrated. Let you to watch downloaded videos while downloading is in progress.
  • Power saving options. You may choose to stop downloading when battery is low, when downloads complete, or when WIFI is not available.
