Windows Store app highlight: Text File Viewer, view and edit .txt files in a touch enabled app

Text File Viewer

“Text File Viewer allows viewing and editing text (*.txt) files, in a beautiful touch-enabled app. It is great for viewing email attachments as well as any other text file on your disk. View the file and use touch or your mouse to zoom in and out. Edit the file comfortably, using the built-in spell-checker. Share the file or print it using the charms,” the app description reads.

Text File Viewer is a nice alternative to the standard notepad and allows for touch-enabled pinch/zoom and the ability to use Windows 8’s Settings Charm to control font size and text wrapping, as well as the Devices Charm to print the document, and the Share Charm to share the file with others. You can open and save files as well as use a built-in spell checker and auto text correction feature. The app is free and available for both Windows 8 and Windows RT. Hit the download link below to grab it.
