The Windows phone finance app, Chillr, has just updated and along with the usual bug fixes and improved stability comes support for two additional banks, Bharat Bank and Punjab & Maharashtra Co-operative Bank. These two banks join HDFC Bank and Bank of Baroda as Chillr partner banks. Currently users with accounts in any bank can receive money with the Chillr app but only those who are members of the partner banks can send money.
Chillr is a rather comprehensive banking and finance app that offers a variety of features such as secure bank transfers, bill-splitting at restaurants, utility payments, payment via QR code, and transaction statements. Here’s the official description:
Chillr works hand in glove with leading banks to offer an intuitive & seamless transactional experience to end customers.
As a platform, Chillr aims to make India less dependant on cash. Every aspect of an individual’s life where a financial transaction is involved, Chillr steps in to make the experience hassle free. Paying your friends & dear ones, buying something online or offline, recharging your mobile phone, paying utility bills or even borrowing money from someone was never this easy.
Soon Chillr will go the extra mile to get you the best deals from all around town & also reward you for all the shopping that you do both online & at retail outlets.
