Windows Phone 8.1 support ends today, but you can still upgrade qualifying phones to W10M

Today is the day that Microsoft is ending mainstream support for Windows Phone 8.1. While it shouldn’t be too surprising since the last update was rolled out nearly two years ago, there’s still an opportunity for users to upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile, as popular Microsoft MVP Nawzil notes:

The upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile started over a year ago and is continuing to run for select phones. Unfortunately, not all Windows 8.x phones are on the list. We’ve compiled a list of devices that can upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile and Windows Insider for you here.
