If you thought that you've heard enough of printing issues with Windows 10, along comes Windows 11 with its own set of printing issues. It's become apparent that users are facing issues installing printers in enterprise networks, preventing them from using printers. Microsoft has now acknowledged the issues.

Microsoft brings preview of the Windows Subsystem for Linux to the Microsoft Store on Windows 11

A preview version of the Windows Subsystem for Linux has arrived in the Microsoft Store on Windows 11. The idea behind bringing it to the Microsoft Store is that it will make it easier to install updates, rather than having to install them via Windows feature updates.

With complaints of how strict the hardware requirements for Windows 11 are, Microsoft has taken the extraordinary step of hacking into a Windows 10 system with certain security features turned off, in order to explain why the requirements are important for Windows 11, in order to improve security.

Microsoft Notepad could be getting a Windows 11-inspired makeover

A Microsoft engineer published pictures of a redesigned Notepad app, but quickly deleted them afterwards. The pictures show Notepad in a Fluent Design look, with a redesigned settings section and menu bar. The build number is higher than that of the public Notepad app. Whilst nothing has been confirmed, it's likely that Microsoft is working on a redesigned Notepad app for Windows 11.
