Microsoft Windows Insider chief Dona Sarkar mentioned a fun little contest being held in Redmond. The Continuum App Contest has been soliciting new Windows 10 apps, and she announced the finalists in the blog post introducing Windows 10 Insider Preview build 14379.

Winner of the Continuum Developer Contest!
Dona Sarkar and Continuum App Contest winner Vuong Chung.

Today, Dona announced the contest’s winner, and the app looks to be a good fit for today’s increasingly technology-oriented fitness craze:

We wanted to share with you the winner of the Continuum app contest from last week. It was a super hard decision, but we went with Vuong Chung from Vietnam. His app, Perfect Workout, can be found here. You can check out the finalists’ apps from my blog here. We were really happy to have heavy involvement from our engineering team for coaching and judging as well as sponsorship and support from HP for this event. Vuong took home quite a haul for his work. He received a Lumia 950, a Continuum Display Dock, an Office 365 Subscription, a copy of Visual Studio Pro, an HP Elite XP3 phone, $1,000 Advertising Credit on the Microsoft Store and my fave: A Surface Book.

Our congratulations to Mr. Chung (for the app and all that nice Microsoft tech), and we’re always happy to see new Windows 10 apps being developed by whomever, for whatever reason. If you’re so inclined, check out the app and let us know in the comments what you think.
