It’s here! The moment we’ve all been waiting for, the Windows 8.1 update for Windows 8! Microsoft has been hard at work for months on end to deliver their latest spin on the Windows 8 operating system. You can grab the update as a Windows 8 user now for free via the Windows Store.
“Windows 8.1 brings a variety of new features and improvements to Windows 8 that we think people will really enjoy. We listened to your feedback and are delivering many of the improvements you asked for” claims the official Microsoft blog post.

If you’re planning to upgrade from Windows 7 or other operating systems, you’ll have to wait until tomorrow where Windows 8.1 will go on sale, replacing Windows 8 in stores. Microsoft will be holding a Reddit AMA starting 10:30AM PST, so don’t miss that!
