Windows 8: Screenshots of new Task Manager

During the Build Developer’s conference, Microsoft showcased the new task manager in Windows 8. At the demonstration, Microsoft’s Steven Sinofsky stated that this new task manager was years in the making.

The new task manager has a much better layout and more in-depth information for end users.

Windows 8 users will also be able to see a much better view of what is using their hard disks.

Users can also view their app history and see what resources each app is using.

Every user hates having so many applications run during startup. The new task manager will now allow users to disable an app from running in the background every-time Windows 8 boots.
