Microsoft understands this issue, and it seems they are planning to update them with new features before Windows Blue is released later this year. The updates could arrive as early as this month.

According to report from Mary Jo Foley, core apps such as Mail, People, Calendar, Music and other Windows 8 goodies could be seeing a big update pretty soon.
