Windows 7 continues to be in the lead with a 45.11% market share (44.71% share back in November) while Windows XP sees a 39.08% market share (39.82% share back in November). Windows RT doesn't seem to have any market share, according to the data, so this comes in as very interesting. One thing to note, according to Net Applications back in August, Windows 7 was at 46.60% market share while Windows XP was at 46.33% market share. So as you can see, Windows 8 is gaining some traction when it comes to market share.
