Windows 10 “19H1” update will address performance slowdowns caused by Meltdown/Spectre mitigations

After the revelations of multiple security flaws in Intel processors, a number of patches, such as Meltdown and Spectre, were released to patch the flaws. iFixit gives the Surface Laptop 2 a 0/10 repairability score, just like the original model

Microsoft is still not pleasing iFixit, with its second incarnation of the Surface Laptop scoring 0/10 for repairability, the same score obtained by its predecessor.

Microsoft gets another low score from iFixit for Surface Pro 6

Following on from the Surface Laptop 2, the Surface Pro 6 doesn’t fare much better with iFixit, achieving a repairability score of 1/10.

The latest Chrome update leverages its PWA platform on Windows 10

Chrome 70 for Windows 10 brings Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) to the desktop in an easy-to-reach manner for the average user. PWAs with Chrome act and work like native apps, but secretly work in a cut-down browser window.
