Windows 10 Mobile Office

Windows 10 Mobile Office apps Word, Excel, and PowerPoint all got small updates today. Lovable Lumia noticed the Office Mobile App updates, as there are no changelogs posted to any of the Office Mobile app listings in the Windows Store. Word and Excel got a couple of new features while PowerPoint’s update looks like it just squashes some bugs and fixes some performance issues.

Here is a look at the new features Lovable Lumia found for Word Mobile, Excel Mobile and PowerPoint Mobile.

Word Mobile:

Merge and split cells

  • You can now merge cells to make a heading span across columns, or split cells to show the right level of details.

Excel Mobile:

Copy an entire worksheet

  • No need to start from scratch! Get a worksheet set up just the way you line, and then duplicate it.

No new features found for PowerPoint Mobile, but the small update that it got is likely to fix squash more bugs and fix performance issues. OneNote was also left out of the latest round of updates, but Microsoft will likely update OneNote separately as it has in the past.
