Welcome back to our weekly “Windows 10 Mobile news recap” series, where we go over the top stories of the past week in the world of Microsoft’s mobile operating system. Let’s get started.

This week has been an active one for Windows 10 Mobile, with plenty of app news – positive and negative – as well as new builds and more.

PayPal, are you in or out? Or are you still shaking it all about?

It seems that PayPal still can’t make its mind up on whether it wants to be on the Windows 10 Mobile platform or not. As a reader politely put it:

I think they updated their app more in the last 2 days than they did in the last 2 years. How silly.

Starbucks will be here in just a few weeks

Coffee lovers won’t have to wait much longer for the debut of Starbucks on Windows 10 Mobile. The company has announced its app is going through final testing and Windows Store Certification and should be landing on your Windows 10 Mobile device in a matter of weeks.

NuAns NEO Windows 10 Mobile device heads to Kickstarter

The much-anticipated NuAns NEO has arrived on Kickstarter. Sporting Windows 10 Mobile and customisable TWOTONE covers, the phone brings uniqueness to the sometimes stagnant arena of devices running Windows 10 Mobile.

The Anniversary Update for Windows 10 Mobile will be releasing on the same day as its PC counterpart, August 2nd, 2016. It will be a staged rollout, meaning not everyone will receive the update at the same time.

Facebook has been working hard on its Messenger app for Windows 10 Mobile. It has now rolled out its biggest update, bringing a new design, and more new features than you have fingers. We’re excited that we now have GIF support.

Following Bank of America, Wells Fargo has now released its all-new Windows 10 Mobile app, which brings all the features one would expect from a banking app.
